I am representing Nicholas Gray who was arrested at Melton St., Euston on
1st May 2001 at 1.55pm. He is charged with failing to remove items that
the
police believe amount to a disguise, a baseball cap and a pair of
sunglasses, contrary to s60 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act.
His trial starts on 3rd December. Recently I have received a statement
from
a senior officer who describes some of the policing arrangements at King's
Cross and Euston between 10.30 am and 12 noon that morning. The contents
of
his statement are such that I urgently need to obtain any independent
footage particularly dealing with the operation of the police cordons at
Melton St., Euston and the surrounding area.
