A strong protest rally against the presence in town of
Roberto Fiore, the secretary of the fascist and racist
political group Forza Nuova, was held today by militants of
the Messina Social Forum, Rifondazione Comunista, Cobas,
Sinistra Giovanile, UDU, UDS and Attac Messina.

From Indymedia Italy and translated by I man LB

Seems that londons own fascist boss roberto Fiore has now
come out of the sewer and under the new regime of the Berlusconia mafia/fascist/police state is most welcome to organize the rise of the extreme right in Italia, Forza nouva
are gaining ground in Italy. Fiore still has interests in London where he was an honoured guest for many years, while he waited for the statute of limiutations to run out.
Poor man just because he was involved in blowing up the main station in Bologna.

the article from IMC Italy, sorry I forgot to get the link.
it's still on or around the first page .

FASCIST AND POLICE VIOLENCE AGAINST ANTIFASCIST
DEMONSTRATORS IN MESSINA.

About one
hundred demonstrators met under the offices of the
Provincial administration venting their deep disagreement
against the permission granted to the secretary of Forza
Nuova to use the Salone degli Specchi (an official grand
room) and expressing their opposition to the presence of
fascists in Messina.
The MSF denounces the violent provocation from the militants
of Forza Nuova, which resulted in fisical confrontation. No
attempt to enter the building was made by the protesters and
the confrontation took place outside the building. The
police tolerated the aggression of the young protesters by
the fascists and found nothing better to do than to arrest a
young man who was trying to defend himself from the
aggression.
The most serious fact though, is that in the course of the
confrontation a policeman drew his gun and aimed it at a
young man’s head in an attempt to stop him.
The MSF strongly condemn the acts of violence perpetrated
both by the fascists and the police. We demand that light
is made both on the police behaviour, allowing the
aggression to take place, and on the behaviour of the
politicians who granted Mr Fiore the use of the room.
After the days of Genova we don’t want violence and
repression to become the rule.
We ask for the solidarity of the democratic forces of
Messina and of everyone who cares for the future of
democracy.
