Ft. Benning, GA, one toke over the line accidentally, 11.17-18.01 --
The cops themselves said ten thousand at least, so you know there were more. Ten to twelve thousand folks, over two hundred puppeteers, and at least 31 arrests for actions at the gates erased all doubt as to the alleged death of the peace and anti-globalization movements. As SOA Watch's Father Roy Bourgeois said, the question all over the movement was "should we come back this year?", to which the answer was a resounding "YES! Now more than ever!" Indeed, now couldn't be a better time to protest the hypocrisy and brutality of U.S. foreign policy, in particular the practices and beliefs propagated by the notorious U.S. Army School Of The Americas in Fort Benning, GA.
