All of those decisions get made at the WTO
and whatever Parliament says your country
now has an obligation to conform your laws to
these WTO rules. If you don't, you face
permanent trade sanctions. It is a back door,
slow motion coup d' etat.

The world Trade talks
in Qatar were billed by
the British Government
as a chance to unite
the world economy and
form a coalition against
terrorism through
globalisation and trade.

Thus an unfortunate
and presumably
unintended connection
between anti
globalisation and terrorism has been
suggested.

In this pursuit of economic growth a treaty of
trade in services is up for discussion, but who
will benefit?

Greg Palast looked at how big business
influences the agenda.
