As part of the 100,000 strong crowd, the black and yellow blocks were well represented on the day. (article 1)

After a long & noisy march - I had to have a piss. So I stood beneath the plods in the photo and let rip - they were up there - so there was nuthing they could - and some nice Queens kept an eye out on ground level
I was glad it was the National Galery -

Appeal For Return Of Stolen Banner

19.11.2001 13:24

Yesterday was a great turn out and the only downer was that some thieving ********** stole our banner!

If anybody has a green banner with white lettering entitled "Class War Probably The Best War In The World" - a small reward is available for its return!

The lettering was in the style of the Carlsberg adverts. I am ashamed to say the banner was left unattended whilst several members were attending a de-briefing session in a nearby pub, a mistake they are unlikely to make again.

More seriously the guy who did the banner basically took 3 days off work to do so and is gutted, especially as he never got round to taking a picture of it!

Any help would be appreciated.

Stolen Banner-Rubbish Cleaners

Regarding your stolen banner. I would suggest it was most likely removed by a member of the law enforcement agencies, or a street cleaner ordered by the former.

Or perhaps one of the many fire engines that wizzed by the square with sirens ablaze decided to burn it in one of the many fires that seemed to strike central london during the speech's in T' Square.

Sorry to hear about somebody's hard work disappearing...
