RADICAL KIDS BLOCK CAMDEN HIGH ROAD!!

Around 20 people blocked Camden High rd today (sat,17) as part of the on-going opposition to the west's imperialist 'war' in Afghanistan.
People gathered at 2pm at Camdan tube and began leafleting and giving-out copies of 'The Spun' newspaper.
The lead to block the road was taken by a lone activist and quickly followed by 10 young comrades and some people from the WOMBLES.
Police tape -liberated in advance by an eagle-eyed cherry- was wrapped around lamposts as more people began sitting in the road. At this point the Trots turned-up and told the kids -who were sat in front of a bus- that if they didn't move they wouldn't be allowed to go to tomorrow's demo!!! Once put straight, Trotsky then told everyone that "tactically, you should get off the road now"!!
The blockade lasted for around 20 minutes before the old bill reclaimed the street! Soon after a forward intelligence team arrived and began filming, later following people to the boozer!!

i went back into the centre and, oddly, a film crew was doing a vietnam demo scene near the university, the building doubling up as the USA embassy. how irrelevant.
