Bin Laden Admits WTC Attack
David Bamber, Telegraph UK | 11.11.2001 02:54
Osama bin Laden has for the first time admitted his al Qaida group carried out the September 11 attacks. The Sunday Telegraph newspaper says it has obtained previously undisclosed video footage in which bin Laden makes his confession. In it he says that "history should be a witness that we are terrorists".

OSAMA BIN LADEN has for the first time admitted that his al-Qa'eda group carried out the attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon, the Telegraph can reveal.
In a previously undisclosed video which has been circulating for 14 days among his supporters, he confesses that "history should be a witness that we are terrorists. Yes, we kill their innocents".
In the footage, shot in the Afghan mountains at the end of October, a smiling bin Laden goes on to say that the World Trade Centre's twin towers were a "legitimate target" and the pilots who hijacked the planes were "blessed by Allah".
The killing of at least 4,537 people was justified, he claims, because they were "not civilians" but were working for the American system.

Wake up you idiots!!

The only really surprising thing is how so many on the supposedly "enlightened" and "intellectual" left fell for "where's the evidence" chicanery.
Peole have just got to accept that, despite all the dark connections with the CIA, the American far-right and a whole encyclopedia of conspiracy theories, the inner core of the Islamixc fundamentalist movement as represented by OBL and the Taleban is 100% evil.
Just for a moment re-read some of Al-Quaid'a published statements about Jews. This is pure Nazi-ism.
Hey - I loathe Bush as much as anyone, but if our knee-jerk anti-Americanism turns into blind hatred we are no better than these Islamic fascists.

As someone a couple of comments before me said, Bin Laden
is probably working for the CIA. Wether or not he is still on the payroll he is definately playing their game.
Another comment on this page talks about knee jerk anti americanism. well as someone who spent a fair bit of time in Nicaragua and other parts of Central america during the 70's and 80's I don't need any kind of jerking to be anti american, I met an interesting american in Nica' and he was of the opinion that until middle class americans start getting blown to bits they would never take the slightest interest in their countries foriegn policy. It's a shame that none of the peoples that the U.S has victimised over the last 100 years have been able to strike back.
I hoped that Oklahoma might be the one, then 9.11, but it's
not to be. I remember seeing a group of dead doctors, out near Bluefields they had been carrying out eye tests on the rural population. and had been murdered by the contras. At about the same time I heard a high ranking U.S political arse hole on VOA comment that the eye tests were just more broken promises and bullshit from the Sandinista's. He didn't mention that the CIA's Low intensity war warfare, deliberately targetted Doctors and school teachers, councillers and people vital to the very fabric of life in one of the poorest countries in the world.
After what I saw in Central and south america even the 9.11 attack had very little effect on me they could have nuked New York and wiped it off the map and I still wouldn't give a toss.
Americans always get so indignant about anyone who criticises their country and since 9.11 everyone is supposed to be full of respect and feel sorry for America
I am not down with it..... Fuck America and it's shit head
people, they lost in Vietnam and they'll lose in Afghanistan
I also lived in a house,in London, with a guy from Chile who went back after the CIA coup and was never heard of again ..
I was also in Salvador where the army training was three or four rambo films, the soldiers all wore face paint and bandana's carried M16's and were literally covered in equipment, grenades and radio's,torches and other shit.
As opposed to the Nica' soldiers who had fatigues and an AK
and not even a spare clip...
ANTI AMERICAN, FUCKING RIGHT I AM....

Max
he admitted nothing of the sort
11.11.2001 20:24
He then goes on to defend the actions.
So he takes the Americans' word for it - how unlike a fundamentalist terrorist
Sounds to me like he wishes he had been responsible, but hadn't been informed about the events by his intelligence agency controllers

"those muslims' and 'God' did it
all he has to do is approve of what 'those muslims' did and this place gets spammed
now assuming that 'bin laden did it' that does not justify blowing up buildings and bombing civilians you know
to prove that blowing up buildings and bombing civilians is wrong
remember when timothy mc veigh used a 'daisy cutter' ammonia nitrate bomb
that was wrong, right
Anybody heard of 'world court' or 'evidence' or 'trial by jury'
here are some previous postings on bin laden statements
While there is much spin doctoring going on in the press that 'Bin Laden confessed' Reuters gives a more unbiased interpretation of
the speech. Bin Laden appears to think that Palestinians did it, but then he doesn't know anymore than anyone else apparently. He
says that 'those muslims' and 'God' did it. (See the link below for his previous interview on the subject).

Reuters report on Bin Laden speech - "DUBAI (Reuters) - The world's most
wanted man, Osama bin Laden, issued a
dramatic videotaped statement on Sunday
praising the September 11
suicide-hijackers and said America would
not live in peace until Palestinians could do
the same.
Bin Laden, calling President Bush the "head
of the infidels," expressed support for the attack on targets in
New York and Washington that killed about 6,000 people.
"America has been filled with horror from north to south and
east to west, and thanks be to God what America is tasting
now is only a copy of what we have tasted," bin Laden said in
his first verified statement since the attacks.
"Our Islamic nation has been tasting the same for more 80
years," he said in a statement transmitted just two hours
after the United States and Britain began bombing
Afghanistan.

Pakistani newspaper prints interview with bin Laden - "The Al-Qa'idah group had nothing to do with the 11 September attacks on
the
USA, according to Usamah Bin-Ladin in an interview with the Pakistani paper
Ummat. Usamah Bin-Ladin went on to suggest that Jews or US secret services
were behind the attacks, and to express gratitude and support for Pakistan,
urging Pakistan's people to jihad against the West. The following is the
text of an interview conducted by a "special correspondent", published
Pakistani newspaper Ummat on 28 September, place and date of interview not
given. The first paragraph is Ummat's introduction." In regards to his statement on the 7th of October which reporters are calling 'a
confession' what I heard him say is that 'those muslims' and 'God' did it...
His statement to Qatar's al-Jazeera television, filmed against
a rocky background with an assault rifle at his side, did not
claim responsibility for the September 11 attacks.
He has previously issued statements through associates
denying he was behind them. "

DOES ANYONE HERE SEEM TO REMEMBER THE VERY USEFUL TOOL, "THE BIG LIE", & HOW THE BEST SUBTERFUGE IS ADMANANT DENIAL OF RESPONSIBILITY?
HE WANTS TO BE PERCEIVED AS A VICTIM TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
BUT I GUESS YOU WON'T BELIEVE IT UNTIL YOU START TO SUFFER AS AMERICA SUFFERS NOW. IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME, IMPERIALIST DOGS.
