All protest march routes seem to lead to the Offices Of The U.S. Trade Representative these days -- and they all seem to start across from the World Bank, at Edward R. Murrow Park. And fitting it is, as this past two weeks has given us a virtual cornucopia of objectionable behavior from the likes of U.S. Trade Rep. Robert Zoellick (genocide via patent law, war profiteering) and the World Trade Organization (holding its Ministerial meeting in an oil-rich fiefdom which prohibits and heavily punishes public protest). Today also saw the rollout of the Dragon, as built by the sterling folks at the Washington Action Group "Doghouse", complete with its own simulated flaming nostril pyrotechnics and its own real chickenshit police chicanery.
