The United States recently suffered horrendous terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. This time, U.S. President Bush predicts, the war will be different. The "enemy" is elusive and difficult to identify. The "battleground" is murky. What we do know is that terrorism is inciting fear and violence throughout the United States and the world.

How do we prevent further attacks and eliminate terrorism? A simplistic answer is: Don't have enemies. No enemies, no violence, no terrorism.

There is no need to "wipe out" the enemy. Consciousness-Based Defense promises to neutralize enemies without destroying them.

When stress builds up in the collective consciousness of a society, violence results. On a national level, enemies are created. Consciousness-Based Defense reduces stress in the individual, the society and the world at large. By turning enemies into neutral parties, or even allies, violence is ended.
