E-Video Advertising Launch to Revolutionise Political Campaigning

The Australian Greens today launched a key feature of its E-campaign. A fifteen second animated E-video will be used to spread the Greens message and advertise the Greens website. It will be the first time that this method will be used for political campaigning worldwide.

Greens National Campaign Coordinator, Dinesh Mathew, said “The Greens attract a larger share of the youth vote than the Democrats and the Coalition. The Greens continue to break down barriers in cyber campaigning and are world leaders. “

The E-Video is fifteen seconds long, portraying three-dimensional animated frogs auditioning to ‘be heard’. A longer one minute and twenty second advertisement can be downloaded from the Greens website at www.greens.org.au.

Mr Mathew said “With this world first e-technology release, the Greens put the other parties e-campaigning to shame. The Greens, with limited funds, will have the best website and e-campaign this election”

The humorous graphic animation is the creation of Pawel Grochola, a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts. The advertisement will also be entered in competitions for web campaigning.
