At the Anarchist Bookfair in London in October 5,000 copies of the leaflet 'Media Mogul Ate My Hamster' were taken by groups from around the UK for distribution. It may be a useful resource at anti-war demos. It contains a critic of the mainstream medias coverage of violence, war and 'terrorism' plus 'adverts' for alternative media such as Indymedia and Schnews. It is available as a PDF to download and print.
Media Mogul Ate My Hamster
At the Anarchist Bookfair in London in October 5,000 copies of the leaflet 'Media Mogul Ate My Hamster' were taken by groups from around the UK for distribution. The leaflet is based on the orginal produced by London Greenpeace in 1999.
This version has been updated to include a look at the mainstream media coverage of violence, war and 'terrorism'. It may be a useful resource at anti-war demos and it contains updated 'adverts' for alternative media including Indymedia and Schnews.
The leaflet is one A4 sheet folded in two to creat a mini 'newspaper' format. It is now available as a PDF to download and print (thanks to www.struggle.ws).
