In Helsinki people received a special welcoming at the square of
railwaystation when latin rhythms flowed towards them.
Many different bands and speakers followed and the mood seemed
to be determined but peaceful. Fire-eaters among the crowd
kept the public warm.

Yesterday on Wednesday 24th of October approximately
3000 people marched from the museum of contemporary
arts to the square of railwaystation.

The march was crowded with peace-signs and other bands,
stating the demand for peace.

The number of participants at peacemarches seem to grow
now. Also in Turku, Kuopio, Jyväskylä, Lahti, Joensuu and several
other cities in Finland demonstrations for peace were held.
