why stopping the walk for capitalism is the most important thing in the world ever ever

The twisted face of capitalism.
The twisted face of capitalism.

This is the face behind the D2 'walk for capitalism'! A man with tight trousers based in a suburb of a minor Australian city, a set of laughable beliefs, and, ooh, 89 email addresses around the world threatens to bring the anti capitalist movement TO ITS KNEES!!! It must be stopped!

Activists everywhere must immediately drop their time wasting activities organising against the WTO in Qatar and the Third World War erupting across Middle East and Central Asia, and immediately attend to this walking disaster for the movement, disguised as a man with a perm and socks down the front of his trousers.

Get fucking organising, man!

Urgent update!

We've just learned that the man behind 'walk for capitalism' has been asked to join rock band Bon Jovi as a session drummer. With any luck this will keep him on the road and TOO BUSY to execute his evil plans to WALK FOR CAPITALISM.

However, his twin brother has been sighted in the Perth area signing up petitions in local shopping malls for volunteers for a sponsored SWIM FOR CAPITALISM! You have been warned, comrades!

You've got to admire him

You've got to admire the man. I mean, he's trying to adopt our tactics of popular action to support something. I know he doesn't share our politics and simply perpetuates the erroneous notion that we're a bunch of violent hooligans out to bring down freedom. But at least he's bringing politics to the streets, which is more than Blair is prepared to do. Give him some credit, at least.

LOL

LOL. Chill out guys. Who really cares what this guy does, or if the march goes on or not? Have some confidence in the movement. One march isn't going to change anything.

Remember, the people either suffering or being exploited under Capitalism are the _majority_ of the world - by a large margin. The WORKERS produce the wealth, WE are the batteries in the system. WE make it work. It CANNOT work without our consent.

You really shouldn't be so concerned about what some petit-bourgeois ignoramus does.

Who knows, some good might come out of it.. this will give us more of an opportunity to confront them with arguments and have debates. Maybe someone on the left would like to organise this.

I'm surprised at the reaction this has generated. Our movement is not so superficial and frivolous (and seen to be frivolous) that it can be in any serious way be threatend by some misguided pro-Capitalism march.

By all means, arrange a counter-march, but don't sweat it; Nothing's going to stop us now.

whocares?

You're right, get organising

When they warned of the brighton revolt I ignored them. When they warned of the city profit march I dismissed it.
This time I won't be duped.

This time I will join them, at the coalface of the soundbyte.

prank-tank.

up for it!
