World Bank meeting in Ottawa Nov. 16-18

The postponed meeting of the World Bank has now been rescheduled to take place in Ottawa, Canada from Nov. 16-18. What are we going to do about it?
"Paul Martin (Canadian Finance Minister) has just announced today (Wednesday) that the
International
> Monetary Fund and the World Bank will be meeting in Ottawa on
Nov.16-18.
> This is the alternative to the cancelled summit in DC for Sept
29th/30th.
> He has announced that Canada, after successfully hosting the NATO
Conference
> a week and a half ago, is the ideal location for the IMF/WB to meet.
> What's more is that also converging upon Ottawa that weekend will be
the
> G20.
> So there will be 3 international undemocratic institutions of global
capital
> arriving in Ontario Nov.16-18."
This coincides with the next major anti-war protest in London, which will bring many of us together in a geographical area that is quite close to the offices and buildings of these unsavoury institutions (including Canada House!).
Is it time to consider a more obvious tie-in between the anti-war and anti-capitalist movements? You decide!
