Glasgow Peace Demo a success

From a demosntrator for Peace

The Antiwar Demonstration in Glasgow yesterday was one of the biggest seen in Scotland in recent years with 4000 people. People from a diversity of groups, creeds and races marched through the City, but once more the local press failed to reflect the event's dimension and the solidarity spirit of the demonstrators. For me, to be there was common sense, after a week of confusion and media lies, and felt great to be surrounded by people with similar concerns.

We are everywhere!.

You are right, people! I could not agree less.

Wakey wakey shoppers!

My seven year old daughter carried her 'NO WAR' placard from Hyde Park to Trafalgar Square chanting "we don't want your racist war," bless her...but just as many people were milling about Oxford Street buying Gap and Nike, if only they had abandoned their mindless shopping for one friggin' day, there would have been 100,000 demonstrators, and that would have scared the politicians out of their wits!
