Peace vigils and demos will be taking place in many towns and cities today (Monday).

The list so far is as follows. Apologies for any inaccuracies. Some of the events listed were advertised as taking place on the day action started, however as the bombing started late it seems likely that these will take place today.

LONDON
6pm, Downing St, organised by CND

7pm Trafalgar Square, organised by Socialist Alliance

WALSALL

EDINBURGH

Media Workers Against the War Public Meeting
7.30 pm at the Camden Center, Bidborough Street, WC1, near Kings Cross tube, with John Pilger and Paul Foot speaking.

11th October:
Spearhead, the people who brought us DSEi, are at again with the Defence Information Capability Conference, sponsored by the MoD, takes place on Thursday 11th October at the QE2 Conference Centre, Central London.
Meet on day (11th October) - 8am, Victoria Square (opposite Terminus Place, Victoria station).

13th October:
NATIONAL DEMO CND: Assemble 12 noon in Hyde Park (Marble Arch end). March 1pm to Trafalgar Square for rally.

Sunday 21st October:
CIVIL DISOBEDIANCE SIT DOWN PROTEST:
ARROW non-violent sit down protest. Assemble Temple Place 1pm to march down Whitehall and take part in a peacefull non-violent direct action. People are asked to wear black and not bring banners or shout slogans to reinforce the peaceful nature of the action. All welcome if you respect the NVDA GUIDELINES: No violence, no threat of violence, no property damage, no drugs / alcohol, no chanting.
