London anti-war demo takes to streets
IMC UK | 07.10.2001 17:41
Anti-war campaigners have taken to the streets of London, UK in reaction to US-lead bombing runs across Afghanistan. There are spontaneous actions being reported across the rest of the UK as well.
No doubt the news that US-lead attacks on Afghanistan have begun will already have reached you. There is also an anti-war effort springing into action in the UK capital, London.
Report recieved that about 60 people are marching towards the city's key commercial area of Oxford Street and will then head to Trafalgar Square as part of a broad peace campaign which has called on the British public to march on the city as soon as bombing commenced.
BBC radio are reporting that bombs have been heard throughout Kabul and Kandahar. There are widespread fears that many innocent Afghani civilians will be killed.

including against Palistine, Columbia, and other South Americans not just terrorism against U.S. Citizens. It would be better to isolate Afganastan against all shipment of arms from anywhere rather than bomb an almost stone age starving population back to before the stone age.
