Like, they are only supposed to be searching for weapons, but all the times i've been searched they will search your wallet and papers for "razor blades". Whats the legality of this? Also i've had cops writting down what train ticket i had, i.e. destination, and other intelligence, are they allowed to blatantly use section 60 for info collection?
And how big an area is a section 60 allowed to cover, cause it seemed like the whole of brighton was covered last sunday? Whats next the whole of britain section 60'd for next mayday or something?

from what i know the police CANNOT open your wallet or any small case [you know and they know no weapon is in there!] and definetely cannot get any personal info, which i`m sure includes train tickets! we really gotta get info on section 60 going round, with personal experiences, lawyer advice and the more the best to know when to say NO to the cops, especially with the big peace march in london coming up on the 13th which will definitely be Big Brother`d.

let`s fight them by their rules when we can!

Many accounts on imc describe two tactics:

1) knowing deception of public in terms of what S60 allows them to do - many people have been told they HAVE to give their pers details, when they don't.

2) blatant abuse - in as much as force photographing and inappropriate searches - eg inside tight clothing and taking details from notebooks (they can search for razor blades by say flicking through but cannot read all the details)
