Mediacops: The police in Bristol have been openly filming protestors saying that they would use the footage in case we were attacked!!(??) Various people have now complained to the police authority that this is an infringement of civil rights. It seems Mr Straw is bringing the clampdown back home. @*

Cops in london have been filming the anti-war vigils in london too.

Also it seems recently many surveillance officers filming people have been accompanied by another cop taking notes. Any one else noticed this? It looked like they were making notes to accompany their footage, noting who was talking to individuals out of the pool of people they seemed most interested in...
