airstrikes can be launched, officials told the newspaper.

Neither Pakistan nor the United States has officially acknowledged that
commandos are inside Afghanistan, but the US daily (USA Today) said their arrival and
deployment have been reported by English- and Urdu-language newspapers in
Pakistan. US Army Green Berets are involved in the search, along with Navy SEAL
commandos and members of the British Army's Special Air Services, unnamed
US officials told USA Today.
