Since the attack of Sept. 11th there have been many proud displays of Americanism in attacks on people seen as the enemy. 'Drive the heathen foreigners from our land' seems to be the mood of the times. Maybe the most ironic and tragic display of American patriotism happened in Oklahoma where a pack of mad dog young white patriots began to harass a group of young women who seemed to them to represent the foreign enemy. They yelled out to them; "Go back to your own country!" When one of these women spoke back at her tormentors she was killed by the patriot's car. Her name was Kimberly Lowe, a 21-year-old full blood Creek.
