On Saturday just gone around 4,000 people turned out to demonstrate against the planned military action in Afghanistan. This was at very short notice of only a few days. There was also a demo this evening Tuesday the 25th of September and there will be demo every Tuesday until the threat of military action ends.

This Sunday the 30th of September there will be a mass demonstration outside the Labour Party conference starting at the Level at 12noon. Which will have a large anti-war contingent. There will be a sound system, jugglers, a samba band and other entertainment there as well.
