I think there were many anti-war campaigns/ers going on a long time before last tuesday!...I was there (at the dsei) and the point is that to get more than the few hundred activists that were there on tuesday we need to hold meetings, demos etc....discussion and not just action are vital

Doesn't even the serious of this situation make you think you should put aside your sectarianism for a minute and unite with others who want to stop the escalation to war????

I have many different opinions to George Monbiot, but maybe you'd like to look at his article in yesterdays Guardain (audience 150 000 +) and rethink your humble opinion of him.

Too right. The last thing we need is to fall back into 80s-style self-indulgent sectarian rubbish. It will be hard enough to speak out against the war without fighting over some supposed pure line among ourselves.
We need to raise our voices to expose the contradictions and hypocrisy in the establishment line, and to prevent the vicious circle of escalation developing.
Let's grow up and do this thing properly.
