Are you on drugs?

A lot of the comments on these pages quite obviously need to be said. However, incoherent rants like the one above will just be used to discredit everyone who contributes.

No revolution from above

The view that George Bush, or Tony Blair must die is understandable. Judged by their policies, military and economic, they are terrorists.

However, atacking the government will only serve to build public suport for 'anti-terrorism' measures. Revenge is never justified, even if it is against the guilty, which is a very slippery catorgory.

There will always be more politicians ready to step into the shoes of any assasinated, and continue the same policies. Resisting the implementation of these policies, and encourging other to do so, is vital

this seems like a good channel perhaps we could smuggle some
magic mushrooms into the mac donalds tent at the labour party conference, they would be much more amusing tripping and maybe we could do some kind of deal with them ....

just a thought !

Would you prefer civil servants?

15.09.2001 18:00

Even if you kill all the politicians, the civil service, police and army will keep going. Any one who steps up to fill Tony's shoes (or Tony himself, as he's not dead at present) should be widely ignored. That's hard to arrange, but is the way to anarchy. You can't just get rid of the leaders - you have to make everyone else not followers.

The politicians are replaceable - the population is not.

"attacking the government will only serve to build public support for 'anti-terrorism' measures."

Since when did these dictatorial facists need, want or ask for public support? They create an outrage (F & M or WTC) and everyone rushes to give up their rights, with bells on!

Anti-globalisation protestors are already called "domestic terrorists" remember Carlo? Or is that all irrelevant now, because countless more innocents have died?
