Pentagon attack predicted by neo-nazi text

'Turner Diaries', far-right text regarded as 'bible' by McVeigh, culminates in hijacked plane flying white-supremacist suicide-mission into Pentagon.

In the racist American novel 'The Turner Diaries' by William Pierce -- a fictionalised account of the violent end of the U.S. government, read as a prophetic bible by much of the American far-right -- a war is waged on the American state by the white-separatist section of the populace, who refuse to aquiesce when the 'Jewish' government come to strip them of their right to bear arms. (by-line: "What will you do when they take away your guns?") The final, suicidal act of destruction -- which tips the balance of war against 'the System' in the favour of the neo-nazi right -- is a hijacked plane flying directly into the Pentagon.

Timothy McVeigh consulted the Turner Diaries (published under the assumed name 'Andrew McDonald) while planning the Oklahoma City bombing. Whether or not it is too soon to rule out U.S. citizen involvement in Tuesday's attacks (and to be honest, it seems unlikely to most of us: "You want me to fly into the Pentagon? What, and miss the World Series?") it is at least worth noting: America herself predicted these events in her own apocalyptic dreams.

The aerial attack on the pentagon begins at the end of chapter 27, and runs through chapter 28 of the Turner Diaries. The full text is viewable on-line:
