QUEEN MUM IS DEAD

Reports from two independant sources say the Queen mum died sometime before last Friday 7th Sep. And that this news is being withheld until Sunday 9th. Why?

A friend texted me Thursday night to say the Queen mum had died. He heard this from a friend who works at the palace. On Friday a friend from the BBC confirmed this story and said that it was going to be released on Sunday 9th Sep.

I don`t know what relevence this has with anything, but it just seems peculiar that they would withhold this story, and if true and tomorrow it is announced, when will they say she died?

I am writing this so that as many people as possable will be aware of the fact that she died last week, and not as I am supposing the press will say, Today.

Does any one else have any information?

personally i think she has been dead for a long time, wheeled out for special occasions. But the timing of these announcements are always political. Could the delay be anything to do with a T Blair, privatisation and TUC conference starting on Monday.
The truth must come out in pubs across the country tonight.

The delay in the announcement might just be so that it can appear in the Sunday papers.

There's been that sort of manipulation before- remember how it came out recently that George V's doctor had, when it was plain that the King was soon to expire, finished him off with an overdose of morphine- just so that the announcement would appear in the morning papers and not the ones which published in the afternoon, which were apparently not thought "tony" enough.

The Queen Mother's attended a church service near Balmoral this morning.

The one-hundred-and-one-year-old has been the subject of intense media speculation after she was diagnosed with anaemia last month.

She's now understood to be entertaining guests and enjoying the countryside.

yup i heard that she went somewhere plush today on radio 4 that was at 11.30am but who's to say its true did queen b actually see her in person
do you beleive everything you read/see on tv/hear on radio? if she is dead at least princess die has some company we could do with another royal funeral i aint heard any good jokes for ages

they called her di until she did. doubt the queen mum's dead though she should be. people weren't designed to live that long but i suppose it's a testament to what private health care can do.
