Fighting Talk

can't recommend highly enough the latest issue of the Anti-Fascist Action magazine Fighting Talk.

as usual AFA's analysis of recent events is suberb - much more realistic, and militant, than the knee-jerk liberalism of the Anti-Nazi League. the article on the issue of the housing of refugees in Scotland should be required reading for anti-fascists.

similarly the article of anti-fascism in Newham demonstrates the need to build a left alternative to Labour that does not just parrot the empty trendy slogans but genuinely fights for working class interests locally.

AFA's stress on the need to bring class into the aanti-fascist struggle is absolutely spot on. otherwise simply banging out the "refugees welcome here" ANL line, without considering how such an approach interacts with working class interests, could end up driving people on estates into the arms of the BNP.

the link below is only to the AFA website, the latest Fighting Talk is not online yet but is in all good bookshops!
