TODAY WERE LIBERATED THE PIQUETEROS OF SALTA JOSE BARRAZA, CESAR RAINERI AND CARLOS GIL

Dear Comrades

We wish to share our happiness with You and make you know that today were freed the comrades José Barraza, César Raineri y Carlos Gil, leaders of the Coordinating Council of Unemployed Workers of General San Martin, in the north of the Argentinean province of Salta.

The Justice of Salta has abrogated the charges of "sedition" against our comrades; this abrogation permits his liberation (but the trial against them continues with the prosecution, minor, of "route blockades").

Freedom of Barraza, Raineri and Gil is a great victory of the broad mobilization of workers, students and democratic citizens in Argentine and all over the world. In each route blockade and in each popular mobilization were placards and canticles for his freedom. In each workers or student meeting, the statements for the freedom were signed in a massive way. The statements come from the more far sites of the world. Were are mobilizations in face of the Argentinean embassies. we wish to be very grateful for all the comrades that mobilize, signed statements and send demands to Argentinean government and Salta Justice. This victory is, also, your victory.

But the fight last. First, because the trial against Barraza, Raineri y Gil remains open. And, over all, because still there are in jail nearly one hundred workers piqueteros, imprisoned for his fight in behalf the workers demands.
The victory that we gained today shows that with the mobilization, in our country and internationally, we can to pull out our comrades from the jail and to impose the worker’s demands.

Thanks a lots, again
