On why more IMC sites should offer on-going coverage of surveillance cameras and the threat they pose to civil liberties. . . .

The SF/Bay Area IMC site ( see upper left of  http://sf.indymedia.org/ ) has (to our knowledge) become the very first IMC site to offer on-going or in-depth coverage of surveillance cameras and the threat the pose.

We encourage IMC sites all over the world, but especially in those cities and countries in which the anti-surveillance movement is growing -- Arizona, New York City, London, Paris, Berlin and Bologna -- to offer such coverage on their respective pages, because ALL activists, not matter what their tactics and no matter what country they live in, are increasingly being placed under surveillance by local, domestic and international law enforcement agencies.
