As the call for the people (blowing of the Conch shell) sounded on Monday, the Royal Flag was raised over the Kingdom of Hawai'i Embassy on Maui. His Royal Majesty Akahi Nui Alii Nui arrived to greet a gathering of close supporters after enjoying a three day vacation with the Royal Family upon his release from the custody of the Military Occupation Power in Hawaii, the United States of America.

The Sovereign of the independent Kingdom of Hawai'i Nation had been held as a Political Prisoner off-the-roster at Halawa High Security on the island of Oahu. (See san francisco bay area indymedia archives). "I'm glad God sent me there," the King of Hawaii remarked "I had a chance to get to know the prisoners and see for myself how they are treated." The Great Grandnephew of Hawaii's beloved Queen Liliuokalani also thanked God for bringing him out.

Supporters have begun raising funds on behalf of the Kingdom of Hawai'i, to bolster the legal Defense Fund of the people of Hawaii's plight for justice.
