Were you at Genoa?
genoaResistance is collecting first hand accounts of what happened in Genoa during and after the g8 summit and your story is important to us.
As part of our Testimony Project, genoaResistance is collecting stories, accounts, and observations to be used as part of our People's Tribunal that will meet on Oct 19-21 in Genoa during our October Mobilization. All of these accounts will also be published on our web site as a document witnessing what happened in Genoa.
We're interested to hear what happened to you. We are interested in incidents of violence and human rights violations, but we are also interested in personal accounts of all the positive and negative things that happened.
These accounts are very important as they will be crucial in creating the historical account of what happened on that long week. Genoa ended in police violence but many positive things happened along the way, too. Tell us about your experiences, thoughts and dreams.
We are currently accepting accounts in English, Italian, German, French, and Spanish (but we will attempt to handle reports in other languages as well)
Your personal accounts can be sent to
testimony@genoaresistance.org. Links of already published accounts can be sent to
