Account from last nites "paint-bombing" of Italian Embassy in London.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning the Italian Embassy in London was targeted by "paint-bombs".
Despite heavy pig precence around Grosvenor Square the activist (or activists) managed to make their way through the back streets un-noticed. And made a succesful escape after succesfully hitting the target.
The Embassys front was hit by the balloons and red paint was splattered all over the pavement infront of the Embassy, the stairs and walls.
Unfortunately time didn't allow to stop and admire the results or to take pictures of it.
But by late afternoon the pigs had managed to get a cleaning crew to get rid of most of the paint, there were still visible stains accross the walls and the washed up paint at the pavement looked more like dried blood than paint.

As I made a phonecall to the embassy posing as a reporter who had been tipped about the paint. The person at the embassy confirmed (off the record and un-officially) that there had been some paint thrown at the embassy and they were looking at CCTV pictures from the area and trying to regonice the activists.
