I am in Italy, things are pretty tense, the regime is starting to defend it's position and gone on the atttack against the associations that made up the GSF.

The most frightening aspect is the complete lack of official information regarding the missing people .
As far as i know there are no official figures and the Italian government has not set up a help line/desk to verify how many are still missing, and maybe try yo find them !!
The cops are still arresting people on their way out of Italy also some police raids on activists homes around the country.
It is obviously not in their interest to do, having allowed the police a freehand in genova. So what are they hiding ?
There a lots of rumours about seriously injured people
who have very possibly died, but no official confirmation.
It's possible that there is some official help line and I have just not seen it, But it should be plastered all over the papers and TV screens that for sure is not the case.
It's a pretty spooky scenario, please try to put pressure on
Amnesty international to demand that there is some kind of
international info center set up , we can't trust the Italian
government even if they do decide to act.
