At 6:45 GMT today (30.7.) three people chained themselves
to main gate of Coulport military base in Scotland. They
were supported by a demonstration of some 30 people. After
the police had removed those chained to the gate 7 new
people took their places in turn. The people involved were
mostly British, Belgian and Netherlanders.

In Coulport base there are a number of illegal nuclear
weapons. All nuclear weapons were found practically illegal
by the International Court of Justice in an advisory
statement on the 8th of June in 1997. Later this has been
consolidated also by a scottish criminal court at one of
the trials of anti-nuclear activists.
