publication of photos of 'ringleaders' of bradford riots leads to 4 people surrendering to police custody

i'm thinking of setting up a stall selling masks and balaclavas to young people who feel they have to defend their communities. Never mind the call to snitch on your brothers who were forced in to a situation vis a vis the police and violent right wingers. The situation isnt so different from genoa - its just that these guys will be left without a defense - tho I'll admit to the quiet talk in the orthodox media about that one
It's time to rattle this cage once and for all.

100% of the forty (so-far) "named & shamed" culprits of 'civil disobedience' are ASIAN! Not one white face, not one NF, no wonder the Asian community feels it has to defend itself, from this blatant victimisation. The media were keen to release police footage of injured officers in Bradford, not so, wounded protestors in Genoa. Solidarity with all citizens, of all races.

Great Idea!

Yep, gas masks are an essential when going on demos these days, and they are easy to get and pretty cheap (30quid all inclusive). I have some info on my website about gas mask set-ups that can be used. I recommend an AX filter and P3 particulate filter : this worked brilliantly in Genoa.

masks, gasmasks and solidarity

firstly, the need for everyone who is involved in resistance against the state or facsism,to mask their identitys is absolutely imperative. in this day and age, the eyes of a fickle media (and the police state) are everywhere and just looking for sales, not the truth. nameing and shameing sells papers. secondly, the statement regarding gasmasks working in geonoa is totally untrue. even italian police gasmasks only were effective for about 30min in that amount of gas. in our experiance water and a lemon was the most simple remedy.the masks the police had were designed specifically for the type of gas they used. how do you explain why you have a gas mask when stopped by police. how many demonstraters have 30 quid to spend on a gas mask? gas masks are not made to run in.this you soon find out when following being teargassed you find yourself running from batten weilding police.go make a profit somewhere else!!!
giving people false confidence in a flawed product, is dangerous and setting them up for a fall.

Did work... :)

Well, unforunately I lost my set up. It worked for both of the days without any problem, and this included at least 20-30 minutes of gas time. I think in mild tear gas situations the mask runs for 60 minutes and in heavy concentrations only for 25/35 minutes. A pre-filter makes the life of the filter last longer.

I was able to run quite fast when needed, these are half face respirators which are not heavy and fir quite snugly. They can be taken on and off in less than 5 seconds. They also make breathing freely about as easy as possible. They have to be worn with a pair of goggles, but these only cost about a fiver.

Also, the whole lemon thing is apparently wrong and doesn't help - but this is simply something that I heard from a number of protestors.
