Wombles solidarity action in Cardiff

Italian Consulate in Wales Invaded

Today a group of White Overalls stopped traffic on a busy Cardiff main road, to raise awareness of the torture and murder in Genoa with the Cardiff public

Earlier the group entered the Italian consulate in Cardiff to protest about the beating and shooting of protestors in Genoa. The group carried a banner reading
'Assassini'. The consul acted aggressively to the action and attempted to evict the group.

It's truly amazing to see other white Overalls groups
getting organised and doing stuff. Keep it up. As
italy slides into Fascism it isn't long that the UK will
follow, also with the introduction of water canons and
new "less than lethal" weapons it's making street actions tougher. We need a real movement of direct
action on the streets that is self-organising and can prevent attacks on it. The white overalls is a step to doing this. Set-up your own group in your town or city
and lets start making it a reality.
