Globilize Resistance action in Bristol

In Bristol last night (26th) a packed meeting of over 100 people heard graphic eyewitness reports of the events in Genoa. Experiences were varied but many spoke of unprovoked police brutality and of a security force out of control. The reports were illustrated by a series of slides and photographs.
It was decided that in order to take the movement forward and to capitalise on the continuing media stories of state violence, a gathering of anti-globalisation activists will take place in the Broadmead shopping centre, Bristol tomorrow (Saturday 28th) at 2p.m. This will spread the message of the reasons behind the mass demonstrations currently occurring, inform people about what really happened and to discuss ways of moving the movement forward.
