Just seen Covell on 1 'o clock News BBC. I nearly threw-up/cried (could've been messy!) with what he was saying. He says he's gonna try for attempted murder and has video evidence - FUCKING EXCELLENT. Lets hope that the judges aren't as Fascist as the cops (huh, maybe wishful thinking). Good on that cop for speaking up. Your disgust and shame prove you are still a human being under the uniform. To carry this through, you can join the ranks of those down the ages who have given up privilege for truth (St Paul, the Roman oppressor turned Christian martyr, is the earliest I can think of, not that I'd agree with everything he said) by standing up and giving evidence for the people who were in that prison, in court as well as in the media. You'd be crazy to go back.
