Tuesday, the 24th, a group of 150 anti-globalization activists protested against the italian consulate in Sao Paulo because of the murder of italian activist, Carlo Giuliani.
The activists blockaded the entrance of the house keeping the consul and 35 employees trapped for 3 and a half hours. They shouted: "Berlusconi fascista!" and "Murderers!" A lot of flowers were put in the gate of the consulate together with picutres of Giuliani. 1000 IMC flyers were handed out to people passing by.
Before they left, activists also put chains in the gate so the consul would have some trouble finding his way out.
Global movement.
Global resistence.
Global solidarity.
