The summer of resistance still goes on - join the Frankfurt border camp!

The fourth anti-racist border camp will take place in Frankfurt (Germany) from 27 July to 5 August.

The last camps were situated at the eastern borders of Germany (Poland / Czech Republic), focussing on the militarized racist border regime of the European Union. An effect of this militarization of the 'frontier' is a growing number of refugees trying to get into the EU via the airports. Frankfurt was chosen for this years campaign as Frankfurt Airport is one of the largest international 'gateways' to Europe.
You are white, you are rich, you are invited to comfort yourself in Frankfurt Hilton, you are black, you are poor - you'll face the border regime isolated in the airports own deportation jail. We are sorry, that the paramilitary federal police forces (BGS) - your caretakers here - cannot guarantee for your life, several deadly 'accidents' had to be deplored during the last years.
Besides our activities against this regime, the camp will be the place to campaign against:

* The expulsion of 'dangerous classes' and sans-papiers in a climate of control, surveillance and repression in the economic center of Germany.
* Frankfurt's absurd candidature for the Olympic summer games in 2012 - let's remember the experiences from Amsterdam's and Berlin's successfull NOlympics campaigns.
* The cynical gentrification process in Frankfurt downtown, a deserted place, a Yuppie's dream of chrome, steel and fragile :-) glass .
* And last but not least: Let's not forget our comrade Carlo Guiliani who was murdered by EU-cops while fighting for a better life!
