RELEASE NICOLA AND RICHARD
Nicola Doherty and Richard Moth, two Globalise Resistance members, have been arrested by Italian Police after the Genoa protests at the weekend. Both work with adults with severe disabilities and are members of Unison trade union. Nicola was on her first demonstration. Neither were involved in any violence during the protests in Genoa.

Also be careful about this 'peaceful' protesters stuff , can sound like others were not peaceful and its ok for them to be held.
Everyone arrested should be released

It is interesting how you put "Globalise Resistance/SWP" - our group in Leeds has 2 SWP members, over 8-10 are not affiliated with any political party (myself included). We operate autonomously and will work with any groups on our side.

Conversely, the hospital has recorded having a Brit called "Canaghan", and I can't find any information about who he is.
And Big Up to Globalise Resistance, who have been heroes in organising the train in the first place, etc. :0)
