Can anyone verify this? Globalise Resisitance issued a press release with this in it. Have police got all the video tapes or not?

"The raids on the Genoa Social Forum
Convergence Centre and the Independent Media Centre (IMC) were acts of sheer
brutality and retribution. Police confiscated hundreds of hours of footage
from independent journalists to cover up their crimes. The scene after the
raid was described as 'like an abbatoir' by one journalist who has now
returned to London."
