Latest on 2 British activists in Genoa denied consulate access. Urgent!

2 members of Globalise Resistance have been beaten and detained. The British Embassy has reported being denied consulate access by the Italian authorities (contrary to international law). Italy says everything is 'in order..' .

We understand that 6 British people are being held. Our statement refers to Richard and Nicola because they're our members, and because we have info about them. But we want all other detainees released as well.

please help if you can.

two of my friends are amongst the 6 britons
detained after saturday raid.
i cant get any info
i dont know if they are ok or what?
does any one know of any helpfull contacts in genoa
to get info.
the consulate have been useless.

any help / info would be much appreciated.
