500 Missing in Genoa.

Number of people missing in Genoa is of real concern.

I felt a bit depressed on Friday night when the Gothenburg
political prisoners posted to Indymedia wishing everyone a
good protest and asking people not to forget them.

[ Its all a bit callous really, leaving a percentage of the march behind in prison after each protest and forgetting they exist. ]

I wish some bright spark could coordinate a system of listing people and prisons to send emails to after a march.
I mean isn't this what unity and solidarity is all about?
I notice the Zapatistas never miss a chance to remember their political prisoners which is I think a very kindly
thing to do.

Which brings me to my real point of concern - the people left behind in Genoa. There are approximately 500 missing in Genoa thus far and it isn't even Monday yet when it
will become more apparent just how many are missing when men and women fail to show up for work, or parents and family report their absence so does anyone know if the Global Social Forum has prepared an advance plan to discover names, ages, nationalities of those missing/ imprisoned/ hospitalised for posting to some list?

Well thats my worries out of the way - now all you have
to do is reply.
