GSF Pressrelease about yesterdays actions

Pressrelease by the Genoa Social Forum

The press conference of the GSF set up a view on yesterdays events, that differ from the way the Berlusconi government does.
Inspite of rumours, the GSF did not dissociate themselves from the groups, which particioated in yesterdays actions, also Ya Basta did not dissociate from the black block.
They pointed out, that a part of the anarchists did not had arrived at the meeting point, at the time they were said to be there, because they had been stopped by police. Secondly, the black clock split up several times. The police brutally attacked all non-violent groups, while letting the black block running around.
Further, masked " demonstrants" of the blck block were seen behind the police lines, talking with policemen. They concluded with the statement that this Black was not the Anarchist blck, but the one of the fascists.

Blair and Putin, met with Bono and Geldof, on a luxury cruise liner, to prove that G8 is not a rich man's club!!

Both Geldof and Bono could feed the Third World between them on their 'Rock Star' salary (and their music is shite!) Who do they represent? Did they partake in the Demo, with solidarity, did they face the wrath of over-zealous riot police on the front line, risking their lives and reputations(?)

Our 'Leaders' are now proposing to treat protestors as "wanton hooligans" and establish a Data-Base to track them, with 'spotters' (infiltraitors) to identify them.

This is the Free World folks, enjoy your 'democracy!'

Why don't they sail their ocean liner to Orissa to rescue to 5 million people trapped by the worst (artificial) floods on record?
