nice little run down of the situation .
Italian politix is pretty complicated, jumping on the band wagon is something they are very good at . but apart from all the fake lefties and the radical chic all hanging out in genova there are some very dedicated groups. Most of the centro sociale have been going for anything up to twenty years and they are just what their nmaes imply social centres .that have been fighting for social justice in their towns and communities .
I hope that everyone will make use of this great occasion make friends and forge links with groups from other countries. let's globalise our protest.

level vibes

Post- Seattle, the slogan of the anti-capitalist movement was: "there is more that unites us than divides us" - something your writer seems to have missed in his/ her "scathing critque" of the SWP.

For all the SWP members and everyone else logging onto Indymedia to hear the news from the "heart of the beast" (for the next 3 days anyway!), 'nuff crap sectarianism and more on what's actually happening in Genoa and the lessons to be learnt in the on-going struggle against global capital.
