About 500 or so people were held by riot police in Salzburg today for 6 hours in what was a re-run of section 60 imprisonment on Mayday in London. Thru the afternoon police snatched people out of the crowd and threatended that everyone would be searched, have their papers examined, be photographed and have to pay a fine! In the end people had to run the gauntlet of a police funnel/tunnel in small groups at a time to allow the police to pull out whoever they wanted...
