Corporate media ignores Dsei arms fair protests

Is it me or has anyone else noticed the complete lack of hysterical (or otherwise) media articles about the DSEI arms far protest set for next tuesday (11th september)?

With one week left to go before a significant protest the usual pre-demonstration press coverage would have seen scores of articles about 'hardcore anarchists thugs planning riot violence', and yet so far the only coverage I've seen has been a small article in The Guardian (see below) which doesn't even mention the date of the arms fair or for that matter the fact that protests will be occuring.

One assumes then that the reason corporate media is backing off from this one is that even they realise the usual mud slinging line would not really fit with a story of trying to stop a deadly arms fair - like, 'violent anarchists plan to stop landmines being sold' etc

With one week left to go let's see what they do...

The latest copy of the Big Issue out today does a small feature which should raise some more interest but even that article fails to give the protest details or the website address www.disarm-trade.org
