Wombles join anti-racist campaigners in north London

Dear Friends,
at our WOMBLES meeting here in London we have decided that we will show solidarity with those in Gothenburg by uniting with our own against the violence of the state. On Saturday June 23rd, 12 noon at Tottenham Pig Station people will gather in remembrance of those attacked and murdered by this state. We extend the message of this march to all those who have been victimised and attacked for a better word and for the 56 people still being held in Swedish Jails.
The repression of the police is just another tool of the state which keeps people in a non-existence of social and political exclusion. We want to participate in our own futures therefore we have to undermine the attacks on us and our communities by a public show of dissent, using the most visible sign, our bodies wearing white overalls.
We call on all to come and join our block, bring white overalls, flags, whistles and bodies.
