Copenhagen: Café Gugenhaim serves bad habits avec overcharging

On the last evening of my visit to Copenhagen
I wanted to have a cold beer and sit down and
write few postcards. What was suppose to
be a relaxing moment turned into a nasty
"service" of the staff.

In the hot late afternoon I was heading with
my bicycle to a place, just to relax, sit down
for a while and write some postcards.

The tables were messy, although there weren`t
many of them.

Inside the café I ask for a beer.
The waitress replies: 34 danish crowns.
To that I replied: That much?
- Yes, she said.
- Ok, here is 34 crowns.

Then I see a sign on the wall.
And on that is written: For students
with studentcard 24,-

I asked kindly the waitress to receive
my studentcard. I showed her my card,
but she just replied that she had already
charged for the beer.
Then I said: Just correct it, use the button
on the machine.
She replied: No, eeh...you just have to pay
34,-

I felt bad after this, especially when I
was friendly and had in a very appropriate and
kind way asked them to correct the charging.

Then she went to ask from a guy inside
the kitchen, what to do.
After this it became even more obvious that
they don`t give a shit about the customers.
He said: We can`t after 2 hours go and change
things. If people would come afterwards...

At this point I felt furious.

I said to him that I just showed you
my card. Just correct the charging.

The postcards are still unwritten and so on.
